Bongo's Beach Bungalow was everything we expected. Comfy, cosy,
clean... a real 'home-away-from-home' abode in a stunning location. Very
expertly decorated by someone who must have had a background in display and an
eye for design. The interior captured a true holiday atmosphere, our week's stay
was over all too soon. We spent every day on the lake in our fishing canoe and
have marked all the best spots for our next visit. The birdlife is abundant, and
I was delighted with the brilliant shots I got of the sea eagles. Fishing,
photography, reading and generally blissing out at Happy Hour each day is highly
recommended to those who crave the peace and tranquillity that Smiths Lakes
offers. Wonderful holiday.. thanks Tony. Well done!!

We had a great time at Bongo's. It is an ideal spot for relaxing. We felt

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bongo’s,
particularly as we had the place to ourselves. Loved the possum family living in
the tree just off the deck – amazed that four of them could fit in the box!
Weather was perfect and water glorious for paddling.

absolutely breathtaking from the living area and it complimented the
way you have decorated the living area with great thought and attention
to detail. we really utilised the outdoor open veranda with the BBQ. We
will happily recommend this to our friends with kids as it is a very safe
area for young kids to play around

surprised with the location, position and facilities. Bongos Beach Bungalow
offered excellent affordable accommodation. Living in the tree at the front was
the cutest possum family that entertained and excited the children after dark.

Hi Tony,
Just got back yesterday and wanted to let you
know that we had a fabulous time. Bongos is a gorgeous place and so
thoughtfully decorated. We loved the location right on Smiths Lake and the
peace and quiet of the whole area. The kids loved the freedom of bike riding
around the grounds and all the families there were so genuinely warm and
lovely.
We'd love to book again for next years school
holidays.

Just to let you know we had the best
time at Bongo's at Easter 2005. It was our first time to the area and we fell
in love with Pacific Palms. So much so we have returned to Pacific Palms and
bought the cafe at Blueys Beach. Thanks for introducing us to the region and
we look forward to meeting you when your next here.

"This is a great
spot! We stayed outside the school holidays and enjoyed the tennis courts, bird
life and wide open spaces -- while sharing with hardly anyone as the other
bungalows were largely empty. The place was very nicely decorated and looked
after and the barbecue was excellent. The kookaburras and possums were friendly
too."
